“I received my initial certification through Sacred Crossings, which is based in Los Angeles. My journey started long ago when I first sat bedside to a dying person to offer songs and hold space with family and friends. My style is informed by my life experiences and participation in inter-tribal circles of healing, ceremony, and learning. A holistic approach honoring the connection between the mind, body, and spirit. As the daughter of a Korean War veteran, and later experiencing the suicide of a loved one, or the death of colleagues within the context of a former job as a wild land fire professional, and personal experience navigating the road to recovery and wellness after trauma, help me to facilitate and hold compassionate and non-judgmental space for listening. A space for those approaching, or wish to prepare in some way, for their own transition to spirit, or grieve the death and celebrate the life of a loved one in culturally or personally relevant ways.
